Holiday Hosting Tips
As we move into the season of hosting and welcoming friends and family into our spaces, we wanted to share three tips to help elevate your space to be perfectly styled and ready for guests!
- Incorporate fruit into your decor: We've seen this trend grow more popular over the last year and believe it's here to stay! This includes: creating dried fruit garlands, table scapes with various fruit elements such as pears, grapes, and figs intertwined with floral elements.
- Layer your linens: Incorporating layers adds texture and warmth to a space, it also adds depth and interest to an otherwise blank space. Add layers and depth by: adding a tablecloth with a table runner, layering napkins at each place setting, use different length tablecloths for a tiered look, or adding extra linens to the end of the table to give it a waterfall effect off the table at each end.
- Create a grazing table: Grazing tables are becoming more and more popular and for good reason! Instead of a standard charcuterie board, go BIGGER. Use a large table or space (such as a kitchen island) and create an array of meats, cheeses, nuts, crackers, spreads, and finger food to give your guests a fun variety of food instead of a traditional meal! Use trays, bowls and tiered servers to add dimension, height and visual interest. This is a great way to make meal time a more relaxed vibe and allows your guests to mingle more. Another fun twist is creating a dessert grazing table instead of a traditional one.
